Cookie notice

What this site stores on your device, and why.

Last updated: 19 April 2026. Version 1.0.

The short version

hhei.org.uk does not use third-party advertising trackers, analytics pixels, social media cookies, or behavioural profiling. We do not share device or browsing data with marketing platforms. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing for you to consent to that the ICO would consider non-essential.

What we do store

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and equivalent local-storage entries to make the site work. These are exempt from consent requirements under regulation 6(4) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).

  • Session and authentication tokens set by Supabase when an administrator signs in to manage content. These are not set for ordinary visitors.
  • Form-state entries in browser local storage so a partly-filled form is not lost if the page reloads.
  • Theme preferences if the visitor changes any visual setting we expose.

Embedded third parties

Two third-party services may set cookies if you choose to use them:

  • Calendly, when you click a "book a call" button. Calendly is the data controller for any data you enter on its scheduling page. See calendly.com/privacy.
  • Google Fonts, served at page load to render Inter Tight and Outfit. No cookies are set; an IP address is briefly visible to Google's CDN. See policies.google.com/privacy.

Your controls

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to read the site. It will only sign administrators out of the content management area.
